In the 100 years since it was established, Erhardt+Leimer, the specialists in sensor, measuring and control systems from Augsburg, has developed from a small workshop to a mid-sized global player with 1,600 employees and 19 subsidiaries.
Their path led from clocks and electrical installations to equipment for the booming textile industry in Augsburg. Their success can be attributed to their specialisation in a particular niche: Erhardt+Leimer produces measuring and control systems for production on running webs worldwide, be it for textiles, paper, plastic film, paper tissues, rubber tyres, teabags or batteries.
100 years of Erhardt+Leimer’s company history are a reflection of 100 years of entrepreneurship throughout times of drastic change and technological development.
